MUSIC 101 (FUNDAMENTALS)
STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of this course you should be able to:
• Define, recognize and interpret symbols in the Western music notation system.
• Construct major/minor scales and demonstrate a basic understanding of key relationships.
• Demonstrate a basic knowledge of score interpretation.
• Understand and implement basic harmonic analysis skills.
•Demonstrate basic aural skills and keyboard facility.
